The Moon Dragon is a celestial being, the guardian of the moon.

This project started with an idea of a asian dragon/spitz dog hybrid. I made sketches on paper to conceptualize my ideas and decide on features and details, before sculpting the dragon. After rendering, the fine details and background was added in 2D.

The original idea included 2 dragons, the sun and the moon dragon. The sun dragon will make it’s entrance soon!
